The S&W Equalizer combines the ease of operation of the Shield EZ with the features users demand from concealed carry pistols. This internal hammer fired, single action pistol features an optic ready slide with large, deep serrations, cocking ears, and three dot sights that is easy to rack even for those with weaker hands. A new optic cut pattern allows the mounting of most popular micro red dots directly to the slide while keeping the rear sights in place for co-witness capability. The 9mm double stack Equalizer is comes with (1) 10, (1) 13, and (1) 15 round magazines to give you a variety of carry/capacity options. As an added bonus, the Equalizer shares magazine compatibility with the popular Shield Plus. Smith & Wesson's decision to use a single action, hammer fired system results in a trigger with a short take-up, crisp break, and short reset that promotes accuracy and fast follow on shots. The Equalizer's 3.675" barrel strikes an excellent balance between ease of carry and ballistic performance with a sight radius that enhances the effectiveness of the firearms 3-dot sights. A picatinny style rail provides ample room for weapon lights or lasers. The Equalizer incorporates a new grip texture to give you greater control under use with better comfort while carrying, and a grip safety to help reduce the possibility of an accidental discharge.
