The Springfield Armory 1911 Emissary Vault is a demo/display trade-show sample designed to showcase the Emissary platform. Chambered in 45 ACP and equipped with a 4.25″ barrel, it combines refined styling with practical defensive features to create a pistol that performs as impressively as it looks. Finished in an all-black Cerakote, the Emissary incorporates custom 1911-style upgrades that make it a formidable defensive option. The pistol features a Tri-Top cut slide with forward lightening grooves and a flattened, serrated top strap that reduces glare and diffuses light in bright conditions. The slide’s 40 LPI flat-top serrations pair with a heavy-profile bull barrel engineered for enhanced accuracy and reduced muzzle flip. A forged slide and frame with an integrated Picatinny rail provide accessory capability while preserving clean, modern lines. For fast, dependable sighting in any lighting, the Emissary uses Springfield Armory’s U-Dot system a tritium/luminescent front sight combined with a Tactical Rack U-Dot rear ensuring intuitive target acquisition in both low-light and bright environments. The frame is fully wrapped in a grenade-pattern texture for a secure grip in adverse conditions. Slim-line VZ Grips machined from G10, along with matching texturing on the mainspring housing and front strap, deliver a solid, confident hold.
