818004021682 MPN: Z15TAC12 The IWI Zion-15 pistol is an outstanding AR platform pistol with 12.5" barrel at a value packed price. While most manufacturers have chosen to go with shorter and shorter barrels on their AR Pistols, IWI decided to go with a cold hammer-forged 12.5" barrel considered by many to be the in the sweet spot length for ballistic performance from a 5.56NATO chambered short barrel. This 12.5" length is easy to maneuver through tight spaces while retaining enough velocity from 5.56 ammunition to remain effective at medium ranges. The Zion-15 uses a mid length direct impingement gas system for reliability and the barrel is shrouded by an 11.5 M-Lok compatible hand guard. Sold as a pistol with an adjustable SBA-3 Tactical Pistol Brace, the Zion-15 is the perfect candidate for conversion to an SBR (with the appropriate tax stamp) should you so choose. The optic ready Zion-15 has a full length rail for your choice of red dot and ample room for accessories thanks to plentiful M-Lok mounting locations. IWI chose to equip the Zion with a B5 Systems straight pistol grip with a more vertical angle than traditional grips that many find to provide a more comfortable grip angle.
