The original 1877 model, favored by legendary figures such as Billy the Kid, John Wesley Hardin, Calamity Jane and Pearl Hart, was known for its distinctive birdshead grip and compact frame. However, Colt's early double action design was notorious for its delicate and complex internal mechanisms. Cimarron has reimagined this iconic firearm as a single action revolver, preserving its graceful aesthetics while enhancing its strength and dependability for today's shooter. Designed by Cimarron's founder and president, Mike B.
